Redwood Tree Walk in Minecraft Design

Posted on June 2, 2017 in Blogs, Minecraft Design - Sylvie Vasar

Our project was to create a structure within the city of Rotorua. After some discussion, we took on the challenge of creating the Treewalk in the Redwoods. We started by building the road and made a chest with minecarts and added lots of lighting to brighten up the whole place. For our Treewalk we used materials such as birch wood planks, birch wood slabs and also a lot of bone meal to grow the trees.  We worked collaboratively and made good progress. Next we added more trees, flowers and a new road. The materials used were podzol, mycelium grass, flowers, tree saplings, coal blocks, and quartz blocks. Once we finished the basics, we added more details such as creating signs that will give our visitors good information and safety instructions about the Redwood Tree Walk. Charlotte & Samira
